FMU schedules Softball Exposure Camp for Nov. 6

FLORENCE, S.C. – The Francis Marion University softball program will hold an Exposure Camp on Saturday, Nov. 6, at the FMU Softball Field.

The camp is for high school-age players and junior college players, and will run from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The cost is $50.

The camp will consist of three sessions: offense, defense, and scrimmage.

A question and answer session will be held to instruct prospects about the recruiting process and the expectations of student-athletes competing at the collegiate level. In addition to the Francis Marion staff, other college coaches will be in attendance.

The Patriot softball program has registered at least 30 wins in 10 of the past 11 seasons, and in two of the past three years has advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

Applications for the Exposure Camp are now being accepted. Enrollment is limited. Walk-up registrants will be accepted.

For complete details or to receive a registration form, call 843-661-4623.
