Receiving promotions to professor are: Vernon W. Bauer, biology; D. Allen Clabo, Jr., chemistry; V. Scott Kaufman, history; and Elizabeth A. Zahnd, English, modern languages, and philosophy. 

Receiving promotions to associate professor are: Larry P. Engelhardt, physics and astronomy; Howard J. Frye, fine arts; Teresa K. Herzog, psychology; Farrah M. Hughes, psychology; Jennifer G. Kelley, chemistry; Christopher M. Kennedy, history; Maria M. Lundberg, mass communication; Latha M. Malaiyandi, biology; Tracy E. Meetze, education; Matthew C. Nelson, English, modern languages, and philosophy; and Hari K. Rajagopalan, business. 

Receiving promotion to assistant professor is: Rhonda M. Brogdon, nursing; and Karen K. Gittings, nursing.
