FLORENCE, SC – The Francis Marion University men’s soccer team will begin a five-match homestand when the Patriots play host to Palm Beach Atlantic University on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 1)
The non-conference match will kick-off at 2 p.m. on the FMU Soccer Field. Admission is free.
FMU (1-8-0) returns home after a four-match road swing that included a narrow 1-0 loss to nationally ranked Clayton State University.
Palm Beach Atlantic owns a 4-3-0 record and has already this season split two matches against PBC-member schools. This will be the first-ever meeting between the Patriots and Sailfish.
Following Saturday’s match, Francis Marion will host Newberry College on Oct. 8, USC Aiken on Oct. 12, the University of Montevallo on Oct. 15, and Limestone College on Oct. 19. Altogether seven of FMU’s final eight matches will be at home.
