FLORENCE –The Francis Marion University Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly meeting at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 15, in the Hendrick Room of the Cottage.
The trustees will consider two resolutions— one approving a revised mission statement for FMU and one for the university budget approval for fiscal year 2012-2013.
The trustees will also hear reports from their standing committees. FMU President Fred Carter will give a report to the board concerning ongoing university activities and events.
Committee meetings will be held earlier in the day Friday at The Cottage. The Executive Affairs Committee will meet at 9 a.m. in the Hendrick Room, followed by a 9:30 a.m. meeting of the Financial Affairs and Facilities Committee. The Academic Affairs and Accreditation Committee also will meet at 9:30 a.m. in Powell Library in The Cottage. At 10:30 a.m., the Development and Alumni Committee will meet in the Hendrick Room, while the Student Affairs and Athletics Committee meet in Powell Library.
