Renowned for their powerful stage presence and high energy style, the Koresh Dance Company will perform at the Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
The company, hailed as a vital force to both national and international stages, was founded in 1991. The troupe presents its audiences with an exciting and emotional blend of ballet, modern dance and jazz molded into a style of choreography that is both eloquent and explosive. There is something for everyone in Koresh’s exhilarating performances. This show will include excerpts from different works: Looking Back: The Music of the 40s & 50s, Through the Skin, Sense of Human and Theater of Public Secrets.
This performance is funded in part by a grant from South Arts Partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the South Carolina Arts Commission.

Telephone and personal ticket sales are available Monday through Friday between 12-5 p.m. Subject to availability, tickets may be available for purchase at the door.
