Allan Wolfe, the award-winning author, poet, performer and educator, will appear at the Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center on Monday, Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the more intimate Black Box Theatre.
Wolfe performs poetry from memory with a theatrical flair and while almost never standing still in the style of Appalachian storytellers. From the moment he steps on stage, Allan’s lifetime passion for words and high energy, highly active performance are contagious. He is always ready to spin out a stanza or two, often with great comic wit and wry wisdom and maybe a guitar riff as well. His shows are appropriate for all ages.
Tickets are $18 and may be purchased at www.fmupac.org, via telephone at (843) 661-4444, and at the FMU Performing Arts Center Box Office. Telephone and personal ticket sales are available Monday through Friday between 12-5 p.m. Subject to availability, tickets may be available for purchase at the door.
