Rowe named FMU School of Business Outstanding Alumnus

School of Business WinnerScott Rowe received Francis Marion University’s Morgan B. Coker School of Business Outstanding Alumnus Award for 2013. 

The award was presented during a breakfast on Feb. 15.  

First given in 1991, the Morgan B. Coker Award recognizes a School of Business graduate who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and success in their career field, as well as played a vital role in their community.

Rowe completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1996, and graduated from FMU in 2002 with the Master of Business Administration.

He has been with HealthSouth since 1997 and was previously CEO/administrator at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Florence.  He has served as CEO at HealthSouth Chattanooga Rehabilitation Hospital since 2007.

Rowe’s community involvement has included serving as the chairman of the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk, a member of the Chancellor’s Roundtable at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a member of the Physical Therapy Program Advisory Board for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Rowe and his wife Michelle have two children, Caleb and Emmalee Grace.
