The group Brass Transit will make its way to Florence Saturday, Sept. 28, with a tribute to the legendary horn band, Chicago. This dynamic, crowd-pleasing, group, comprised of eight of Canada’s most in-demand musicians and singers, will take the stage at Francis Marion University’s Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m.
Brass Transit transports its audience back to the freewheeling days of the seventies and shares all the hits from Chicago’s golden age. Brass Transit performs songs from artists like Aretha Franklin, Ben E. King, the Marvelettes, Frankie Valli, Mary Wilson and the Mamas and the Papas.
The band members include veterans of the classic rock ‘n’ roll and soul acts the Drifters, Sam and Dave, Aretha Franklin, Ben E. King, the Marvelettes, Frankie Valli, Mary Wilson, Martha Reeves, Little Anthony & the Imperials and Del Shannon.

Telephone and personal ticket sales are available Monday through Friday between 12-5 p.m. Subject to availability, tickets may be available for purchase at the door on the day of the performance.
