FMU Performing Arts Center brings Neil Berg's "102 Years of Broadway," March 28

NEIL BERG photo 1Neil Berg’s Broadway review returns to Francis Marion University’s Performing Arts Center on Friday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m.

The award-winning producer, lyricist and composer Neil Berg presents “102 Years of Broadway” featuring former Broadway show cast members singing the greatest songs from hit musicals of the century. Berg previously brought his “100 Years of Broadway” and “101 Years of Broadway “ to the PAC.

“We are pleased to bring Neil Berg back this year as part of our commitment to enhancing the cultural fabric of this community,” said Laura Sims, director of the PAC. “Shows like this give us an opportunity to  enjoy a high quality production right in our community, time and time again, in this case.”

The ensemble will recreate the biggest moments from the finest shows of the century featuring stars of shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Evita, CATS, Wonderful Town, Jesus Christ Superstar and Fiddler on the Roof. These amazing performers light up the stage with songs from the hit shows in which they starred. Berg presents brilliantly revived arrangements of Broadway classics as well as thrilling songs from Broadway's newest hit shows.

Tickets to Neil Berg’s “102 Years of Broadway” can be purchased at a cost of $50 at the PAC box office during regular box office hours (M-F, Noon to 5 p.m.). Students may purchase tickets at a cost of $25. Contact the box office for more details at (843) 661-4444. Groups are welcome.
