FLORENCE – Francis Marion University faculty, staff and students are participating in the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) annual Red Ribbon Campaign. The theme this year is “Tie One On For Safety - Let’s Change The Meaning Of Tie One On.”
FMU employees and students were encouraged to tie a red ribbon to a visible location on their vehicle as a symbol of their commitment not to drive after drinking alcohol, and as a reminder to others. The “Tie One On For Safety” campaign is running Nov. 23-Jan. 1, 2000.
For more information, contact FMU public safety officers, Sgt. Kenneth J. Pittman, Captain Earl J. Glenn, or Chief Richard J. Austin, at 843-661-1109.
