FLORENCE – This is a reminder regarding Francis Marion University Christmas Holidays. 

 The 1999 fall semester will end in commencement ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 10 a.m.  South Carolina Supreme Court Justice Jean Toal will be the commencement speaker.  Ceremonies will be held in the Smith University Center.

 The University campus will close for Christmas holidays at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, and reopen at 8:30 a.m.  Monday,  Jan. 3, 2000, and students return to classes Wednesday, Jan. 12.
