FLORENCE -- The Francis Marion University Master of Business Administration degree Alumni Council hosted a breakfast for MBA graduates, current MBA students, and School of Business faculty on Nov. 3.
MBA Alumni Council Chair Juanita Bulloch ’81 and ’96, led a brief program. Speakers included FMU associate professor of economics Barry O’Brien, the MBA program director; Jack Goebel, the School of Business Dean; and FMU’s new president, Fred Carter.
Jerry Chamness ’91, ’94, MBA Alumni Council committee member, and Robert Pugh, associate professor of management, presented Robert T. Barrett, FMU’s associate provost, a framed certificate in appreciation of his outstanding leadership, service and dedication as the former coordinator of the MBA program.
Annie Brown ’92, ’95, MBA Alumni Council committee member, shared ideas on organizing the MBA Alumni Council and asked for suggestions from attendees on how the Council can better serve its graduates.
