FLORENCE – The first meeting of the Francis Marion University Computer Club, (formally known as the Student Chapter of the ACM), will be a membership meeting open to FMU faculty, staff and students on Thursday, Nov. 11 at 2:30 p.m. in the Leatherman Science Facility, Room 106.
Guest speaker at the event, Jeff Zadeh, FMU associate professor of computer science, will address the impending arrival of the Year 2000, and its implications. Refreshments will be served; the meeting should last less than one hour. Memberships are $5.
