Occupational Health and Safety Seminar Set for Nov. 4

FLORENCE---A one-day seminar on environmental protection and occupational health and safety will be held Nov. 4 on the fifth floor of McLeod Women’s Pavilion.

 Sponsored by Francis Marion University and the Medical University of South Carolina, the seminar will focus on topics such as developing compliance plans for regulatory agencies, facility waste management, occupational and environmental recording keeping and case evaluations.

 Michael T. Ryan of the College of Health Professions of the Medical University of South Carolina will conduct the seminar.

 Available for continuing education credit, the short course will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The cost is $125 per person.

 FMU offers a MBA degree with a concentration in health management in conjunction with MUSC.
