FLORENCE, S.C. – The Francis Marion University Art Gallery Series is featuring an FMU Art Alumni Invitational show through Oct. 15.

The 37-piece exhibit of two- and three-dimensional art is displayed in the Hyman Fine Arts Center gallery and is open to the public free of charge from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Nine FMU alumni are featured in the show: Whitney Brown (’98), Cindy Hoffman (’94), Suzanne Holland-Jebaily (’74,’81,’96), Carolyn Schretzmann-Jebaily (’93), Kelley Jones (’96), Wanwadee Larsen (’89), Scott McCrea (’99), Jaime Owens (’97), and Teresa Patterson Petty (’93).

A reception for the participating artists will be held Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m., preceding that evening’s First Tuesday Art Event.
