FLORENCE---The location of next week’s special called meeting of Francis Marion University’s Board of Trustees has been changed. 

The trustees will meet Monday, March 8, at 3 p.m. at the Adams Mark Hotel, 1200 Hampton St., Columbia, to initiate a search for a new president of the university.  The meeting will be held in the Palmetto Ballroom II of the hotel.

 Board Chairman James R. Courie, a Columbia attorney, called the special meeting to establish parameters to begin the search to replace Lee A. Vickers who was named president of Dickinson State University in North Dakota last week.
