FLORENCE -- During Homecoming '99 activities the Francis Marion University School of Business hosted a breakfast for graduates and presented the 1999 Outstanding School of Business Graduate Award to Stanley R. Carraway Jr. 

Stanley graduated in 1991 from the business administration program at FMU.  He has been employed with Fleet Mortgage Corporation since 1986 and is currently the Southeast Regional Vice President. 

He and his wife, "Boo" (Dorothy), also a 1991 business administration graduate, live in Lexington with their son.  The couple recently established the Stanley R. Carraway Jr. Scholarship,   a $2,000 annual award made to a part-time business student at FMU.  The Carraways had their $1,000 gift matched by Fleet Mortgage Corporation.

"FMU has a top-notch business school --the education and training I received has proved invaluable to me in my career," Stanley said.
