FLORENCE – Francis Marion University will host an Open House for prospective students and their families on Saturday, Sept. 30.
The day will begin with registration and a continental breakfast at 9 a.m., and a welcome will be given at 9:30 a.m. Information sessions and an information fair will be held from 10 a.m. to noon.
Session topics will include academic programs, financial assistance, residence life, campus services, admissions and more. The fair will provide an informal way to gather information and ask questions. Many different campus groups such as athletics, honors and student organizations will be represented.
From noon to 1 p.m., tours of the campus and residence halls will be given.
Open Houses are also scheduled for Saturday, March 3, 2001, and Saturday, April 21, 2001. The Open Houses are a great way for prospective students to meet faculty, staff, administrators and current students – all while learning about FMU programs and services.
