FMU to present Christmas choral concert

FLORENCE – Francis Marion University will present a Christmas choral concert on Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. in the Adele Kassab Recital Hall in the Hyman Fine Arts Center on campus.

The program will include traditional and contemporary Christmas songs. Admission is free.

 The concert will feature FMU’s Concert Choir, the FMU Singers and Cut Time, the university’s show choir. The Central United Methodist Church Handbell Choir will also perform.

 The FMU groups are directed by Sue Butler Orr, an assistant professor of music and director of choral programs at the university. Rebecca Culbertson is the accompanist. The handbell choir is directed by Anne NeSmith.
