FLORENCE – Francis Marion University will host two alumni events in November: an Alumni Association Membership Dinner and an MBA Alumni Breakfast.
The Alumni Association Membership Dinner will be on Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Hendrick Dining Room of the Ervin Dining Hall. Alumni who paid their Alumni Association membership dues are invited to this event. Each Alumni Association member will be recognized and lifetime members will be presented with a commemorative gift.
The MBA Alumni Breakfast will be on Nov. 17 in the Palmetto Room of the Ervin Dining Hall. Coffee and juice will be served at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. During breakfast, a panel discussion, “The FMU MBA: Adding Value to Individuals, Area Businesses, and the Community,” will be held.
Panelists will include FMU president Fred Carter; Barry O’Brien, director of the FMU MBA program; Perry Grice, an FMU MBA alumnus; and Ian Shaw, fibers and facilities plant manager for Wellman Inc. The panel will be moderated by Mary Anne Byrd, an MBA alumna.
