FMU Art Gallery Series features ceramics, photography exhibits

FLORENCE, S.C. – The Francis Marion University Art Gallery Series is featuring ceramics and photography exhibits through mid-August.

A ceramics exhibit by faculty and students of the University of South Carolina ceramics program is on display in the Hyman Fine Arts Center galleries.

The Smith University Center gallery is displaying an exhibit of photography titled “Collected Images” by Gregorio Binuya. Binuya is a Florence native who recently moved back to the area. He describes his work as “portraits of God as reflected in places and faces.”

Both exhibits are free and open to the public and may be viewed between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
