Health Physics Society establishes scholarship at FMU

FLORENCE, S.C. – The Savannah River Chapter of the Health Physics Society has established a $500 scholarship at Francis Marion University.

 The Roscoe Hall Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an FMU student majoring in health physics. The recipient must have a grade-point average of 3.2 or higher.

 The first recipient is Melissa Cross, a junior health physics major from Jackson, S.C. Steve Epperson, president of the Savannah River Chapter of the Health Physics Society, presented a $500 check to Cross on March 29.
