"The Christmas Star" Program With Christmas Caroling to be presented at FMU's Dooley Planetarium, Dec. 9
FLORENCE, S.C. – The Dooley Planetarium on the campus of Francis Marion University will present its annual holiday program titled “The Christmas Star,” Sunday, Dec. 1, at 3 p.m. Following the program at 4 p.m., FMU’s “Cut Time” show choir will lead visitors in the singing of Christmas carols.
Admission is free. The planetarium is located on the second floor of the Cauthen Educational Media Center.
This annual program will search for the meaning of the star reported in the Bible to have led the Wise Men to the baby Jesus.
Following the regular schedule of public programs, “The Christmas Star” will be repeated for the final time Dec. 16.
