FLORENCE, S.C. – Bradley W. Wofford of Aynor has been named director of Francis Marion University’s Cauthen Educational Media Center.
He replaces Ross A. Fleming, who retired this summer after heading the media center since 1976.
Wofford has been the media center’s assistant director since 1986. In his new role, he will be responsible for FMU’s media programs, as well as the programming of government access Channel 11. He will also continue to produce audio, photography, video and graphics projects for campus faculty and administration.
Prior to coming to FMU, Wofford was an audio-visual specialist at Horry-Georgetown Technical College. He earned the B.M.A. and M.M.A. degrees from the University of South Carolina.
He is a member of the Consortium of College and University Media Centers, the Association for Educational Communication and Technology of South Carolina, and the Association for Multi-Image International.
The appointment became effective Aug. 1.
