Paintings, paper collage to be exhibited at FMU

FLORENCE, S.C. – Paintings by R. Thomas Wimberly and paper collage by Bobbi Adams will be exhibited at Francis Marion University as part of the FMU Art Gallery Series beginning June 4.

 Wimberly’s exhibit, titled “A Brush With Nature and Watercolor Landscapes,” will be displayed through July 31 in the Hyman Fine Arts Center gallery. Wimberly is a native and resident of Marlboro County.

 Adams’ exhibit, titled “Handmade: Earth, Fire, Water, Spirit,” will be on display in the Smith University Center gallery through Aug. 31. Adams is a resident of Bishopville.

 Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

 An artists’ reception will be held June 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hyman Fine Arts Center. The reception is free and open to the public.
