FLORENCE, S.C. - Francis Marion University will hold a newly expanded FMU Activities Camp 2002 (formerly known as FMU Day Camp), May 29 – June 28. The camp for boys and girls, ages 5-12, is divided into five sessions with both full- and half-day options.
The half-day camp runs weekdays from 8 a.m. until noon. The full-day option is weekdays from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The cost of the first half-day session, May 29-31 (three days), is $35. The cost of the other four half-day sessions, June 3-7, 10-14, 17-21, and 24-28 (five days each), is $50 each. A rate of $235 is available for all sessions, with a reduced rate of $210 when paid in full and in advance.
The cost of the first full-day session, May 29-31 (three days), is $75. The cost of the other four half-day sessions, June 3-7, 10-14, 17-21, and 24-28 (five days each), is $140 each. A reduced rate of $65 for the May session and $125 for each of the other four sessions is available when paid in full by May 10.
Camp activities will include fishing, nature hikes, kickball, racquetball, movies, refreshments, swimming, and instruction in various sports by Francis Marion University athletic coaches. Activities will vary from week to week, so as to introduce many different sports.
Campers will be divided into groups by ages. The mission of the camp is to promote healthy and fun activities for children.
Full-day campers must provide their own lunches. Each camper will receive an Activities Camp T-shirt.
