FMU's Cut Time show choir to perform at Disney World

FLORENCE, S.C. – Cut Time, Francis Marion University’s show choir, will perform at Disney World on April 13.

The 12-member group will sing at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in the Magic Kingdom. The group received a letter of invitation to perform after submitting an application, picture and videotape.

“It’s a unique and exciting experience,” said Sue Orr, choral director at Francis Marion and founder and director of Cut Time. “We went in 1997, and I have pictures on the wall in my office to attest to a wonderful trip and experience. Those students have graduated, but will always remember that experience.”

Cut Time will be performing numbers including “Let It Be Me,” “Old Time Rock And Roll,” “Spinning Wheel,” “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Bye Bye, Love,” “Rockin’ Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu,” and “Why Do Fools Fall In Love?”
