FMU First Tuesday Arts Event set for Feb. 5

FLORENCE, S.C. – Pianist Benjamin Woods and violinist Christopher Woods will perform as a father-son duo at Francis Marion University’s First Tuesday Arts Event, Feb. 5.

 The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in the Adele Kassab Recital Hall in the Hyman Fine Arts Center. Admission is free and open to the public.

Prior to the concert, the public is invited to view ceramic exhibits  “Past, Present, Future Landscapes?” by Steven Hewitt and “Vessel Forms” by Vanessa Hewitt Grubbs. The displays are in the Hyman Fine Arts Center gallery and are part of the FMU Art Gallery Series.

Following the performance, everyone is invited to the Smith University Center art gallery to view “Offerings,” an exhibit by FMU assistant professor of art education Ashlee Basinger. This exhibit is also part of the FMU Art Gallery Series.
