FMU Trustees To Meet Nov. 1
FLORENCE---The Francis Marion University Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly meeting at 11:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, in the President’s Room of Ervin Dining Hall.
The board meeting will be preceded by committee meetings as follows:
8:30 a.m., Executive Affairs, Hendrick Dining Room; 9 a.m., Planning and Accreditation, Palmetto East, and Financial Affairs and Responsibility, Palmetto West; 9:45 a.m., Academic Affairs and Shared Governance, Palmetto East, and Student Affairs and Athletics, Palmetto West; and 10:30 a.m., Alumni Development, Palmetto East, and University Development, Palmetto West.
At 1:30 p.m., the trustees will help dedicate the road into the campus at Gate 4 in memory of the late Robert C. Scott Jr., the founder of the Pee Dee Education Center which serves as a catalyst for education services to its 19-member school districts. The dedication ceremony will be held in the Smith University Center Commons.
