FMU First Tuesday vocal recital Oct. 1

FLORENCE, S.C. – A vocal recital with piano and instrumental accompaniment will be featured at Francis Marion University on Oct. 1 as part of the university’s First Tuesday Arts Event series.

 The concert, “Lovers in all Predicaments,” will begin at 8 p.m. in the Hyman Fine Arts Center’s Kassab Recital Hall on the FMU campus. Admission is free and open to the public. A reception will be held after the performance.

 The recital will feature soprano Marcy A Betzer, accompanied by pianist Benjamin Woods, flutist Elijah Brown, and classical guitarist Edgar Hite,.

 The concert will feature works by Mozart, Bizet, Massanet, Catalini, Mascagni, Cilea, Giordano, Verdi and Pucchini.
