FLORENCE, S.C. – Representatives of Francis Marion University will be in Columbia, Tuesday, Oct. 1, as part of the “FMU on the Road” series.

 “FMU on the Road” is an opportunity for alumni to join faculty and staff for a casual evening of friends, food and fellowship. The event will take place at the Clarion Town House Hotel, 1615 Gervais St., from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

 Participants will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages while visiting and networking with fellow alumni and FMU officials. The event is hosted by FMU Trustee Bill Ellen (Class of 1978) and is free for FMU alumni.
