FMU to close for holidays FLORENCE, S.C. – Francis Marion University will close for the holidays on Tuesday, Dec. 23 and will re-open on Friday, Jan. 2. All FMU administrative offices, including the Rogers Library and the Smith University Center, will be closed during that time. Registration for spring classes will be held Monday, Jan. 12. Spring classes will begin Tuesday, Jan. 13.
