FMU to hold choral concerts, Nov. 23 and 25
FLORENCE, S.C. – The Francis Marion University choral program will hold concerts on Sunday, Nov. 23 and Tuesday, Nov. 25.
The Nov. 23 concert will feature the University Concert Choir and will begin at 3 p.m. The university’s show choir, Cut Time, will perform at 8 p.m. on Nov. 25. Both concerts will be held in the Hyman Fine Arts Center’s Kassab Recital Hall and are free and open to the public.
The concert choir’s program is titled “A Choral Circle” and will feature a selection from each of the historical periods of music, from the Middle Ages to the 21st century.
Both choirs are directed by FMU assistant professor of music Sue Butler Orr.
