FMU Trustees To Meet Nov. 21
FLORENCE---The Francis Marion University Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly meeting Friday, Nov. 21, on campus.
The fall meeting is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. in the Hendrick Dining Room of The Cottage.
The trustees will consider two resolutions--one authorizing a $342 annual salary increase for university employees, effective Jan. 1, 2004, to offset an increase in health insurance premiums, and one approving a ground lease between the university and the FMU Real Estate Foundation for the lease of all student housing and the land site for construction of additional student housing.
Following the full board meeting, trustees will participate in a cookout with faculty and staff.
The trustees will hold committee meetings earlier in the day Friday. The Executive Affairs Committee will meet at 8:45 a.m. in the small conference room of The Cottage. At 9:15 a.m., the Financial Affairs and Responsibility Committee and the Planning and Accreditation Committee will meet jointly in the Hendrick Room. At 10 a.m., the Academic Affairs and Shared Governance Committee will meet in the small conference room, while the Student Affairs and Athletics Committee meets in the Hendrick Room. At 10:45 a.m., the Alumni Development Committee meets in the small conference room, while the University Development Committee meets in the Hendrick Room.
