FLORENCE, S.C. – The Francis Marion University Theatre will present “Feiffer’s People” by Jules Feiffer, Oct. 22-25.
Performances begin at 8 p.m. in the Hyman Fine Arts Center’s theatre. Admission is free, but reservations are recommended. Call the box office at 843-661-1365, Monday through Friday, between 1 and 5 p.m., for seating availability.
“Feiffer’s People” has been described as sketches and observations on life. The play was written by American humorist, cartoonist and social satirist Jules Feiffer, and offers a characteristically inventive and flexible kind of theatre. The production is made up of brief sketches, monologues and playlets, which are often funny, yet bitingly acerbic in the sharp observations they provide on the modern world.
The play is directed by associate professor Glen Gourley, with professor David Granath serving as lighting and scenic director.
