FLORENCE---The Francis Marion University Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly meeting at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 30, in the President’s Room of Ervin Dining Hall.

 The trustees are expected to discuss an increase in tuition and fees for the 2003-2004 academic year.  They will also elect new officers and set meeting dates for the coming year.

 Committee meetings on Friday will be held as follows:  8:45 a.m., Executive Affairs, Hendrick Dining Room; 9:15 a.m., Planning and Accreditation, Palmetto East, and Financial Affairs and Responsibility, Palmetto West;  10 a.m., Academic Affairs and Shared Governance, Palmetto East, and Student Affairs and Athletics, Palmetto West;  10:45 a.m., Alumni Development, Palmetto East, and University Development, Palmetto West.
