FLORENCE, S.C. – The Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers (PT3) grant at Francis Marion University is sponsoring the fifth-annual Teaching with Technology Conference, Saturday, March 22.
The conference will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free. Conference registration begins at 8 a.m. in the foyer of the McNair Science Building.
Fifteen major workshops are available for teachers on topics such as: multimedia authoring for students with eZediaMX and QTI; calculators in the classroom; PASCO science probes for elementary and high school students; Inspiration concept mapping software; using AlphaSmarts in language arts; making maps with ArcView GIS software; using everyday MSOffice to teach math; new ways of teaching geometry; and combining the world of robotics with the fun of Logo for even young children.
