FMU to host African-American Read-In, Feb. 2 FLORENCE, S.C. – The Swamp Fox Writing Project will sponsor an African-American Read-In on Sunday, Feb. 2. The read-in will be from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Smith University Center commons on the FMU campus. The event is free and open to the public, and children and families are welcome. The read-in will celebrate the life and writing of African-Americans.
