FLORENCE, S.C. – Mary Brady Greenawalt has joined the FMU faculty as the First Union National Bank Professor of Accounting.
She earned the A.B. degree in management sciences and accounting from Duke University, the M.B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the Ph.D. degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.
Greenawalt has taught at The Citadel, Virginia Tech, and Guilford College. She is a certified public accountant and a certified internal auditor.
She is a member of and has held leadership positions in the American Accounting Association, the South Carolina Association of Accounting Educators, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Greenawalt has received numerous grants and was awarded the Citation of Excellence from ANBAR Management Intelligence.
