FMU Baseball To Hold Youth League Day, Wednesday

FLORENCE, S.C. – The Francis Marion University baseball team will hold Youth League Day when the Patriots play host to Wingate University, Wednesday (April 9).

The game will start at 6 p.m. on FMU’s Cormell Field.

All Youth League players wearing their game uniforms will be admitted free.  All individuals or teams wishing to take advantage of this offer are asked to call the Patriot baseball office at 843-661-1242 to get their names on a pass list.

Regular admission to the game will be $3 for adults and $2 for children.  Swamp Fox Club season passes will be honored, and FMU students are admitted free with their identification cards.

The Patriots are currently 21-14 and tied for 26th in the latest Collegiate Baseball Magazine Top 30 poll.

Of the 29 players on the 2003 Patriot roster, 24 are South Carolina natives.
