FMU Holds ACTIVITIES CAMP, May 28-June 27

FLORENCE, S.C. - Francis Marion University will hold its annual FMU Activities Camp 2003, May 28 – June 27.  The camp for boys and girls, ages 5-12, is divided into five sessions and runs weekdays from 8 a.m. until noon.

The cost of the first session, May 28-30 (three days), is $35.  The cost of the other four sessions, June 2-6, 9-13, 16-20, and 23-27 (five days each), is $55 each.  A rate of $235 is available for all sessions.  If registration forms are received or postmarked by May 3, or for those who participated in last year’s camp, the May session is reduced to $30 and the June sessions to $45.

Camp activities will include baseball, softball, kickball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and swimming.  Instruction in the various sports will be by Francis Marion University athletic coaches.  Activities will vary from week to week, so as to introduce many different sports.

Campers will be divided into groups by ages.  The mission of the camp is to promote healthy and fun activities for children.

Each camper will receive an Activities Camp T-shirt.
