FMU Planetarium to Undergo Renovations

FLORENCE, S.C. – Due to a planned summer renovation project, the Dooley Planetarium on the campus of Francis Marion University will not present any summer programs.

Since its opening in 1978, the planetarium has regularly shown public programs on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.  Admission to these programs is free.  The planetarium is located on the second floor of the Cauthen Educational Media Center.
