The Pee Dee Teacher Forum and Francis Marion University will sponsor Instructional Fair 2004, Thursday, July 22.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the FMU campus. The cost of the fair is $10 and includes lunch.
Teachers attending the fair will take part in mini-sessions designed to give useful information and strategies to make the classroom a true community of learning.
Special presentations will be made by Shelley White Marsh, National Rural Teacher of the Year, and Ruth F. Taylor, finalist for 2004-2005 S.C. Teacher of the Year.
Special sessions will be devoted to teachers considering National Board Certification. Attendees will also be able to explore new educational products from vendors, as well as interesting field trip opportunities.
