Fourteen Francis Marion University students have been named Drs. Bruce and Lee Foundation Nursing Scholars for the 2004-05 academic year.

 Drs. Bruce and Lee Foundation Nursing Scholars receive awards in varying amounts. The scholarships are awarded to outstanding freshmen who had at least a 3.0 grade point average in high school and scored 1100 or higher on the SAT.

 Recipients may renew the scholarships for up to three years by maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0. The scholarships are restricted to students who are residents of the following counties: Florence, Darlington, Dillon, Marion, Williamsburg, Clarendon and Marlboro.
