FMU Trustees To Meet Feb. 20
FLORENCE---The Francis Marion University Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly meeting Friday, Feb. 20, on campus.
The fall meeting is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. in the Hendrick Dining Room of The Cottage.
The trustees will consider two resolutions--one authorizing the president to review and approve a student housing management agreement, and the other to establish student housing costs for the 2004-05 year, including rental fees for the new student apartments that are under construction.
Following the full board meeting, trustees will participate in a luncheon honoring three newly chosen research scholars.
The trustees will hold committee meetings earlier in the day Friday. The Executive Affairs Committee will meet at 8:45 a.m. in the small conference room of The Cottage. At 9:15 a.m., the Financial Affairs and Responsibility Committee will meet in the Hendrick Room, and the Planning and Accreditation Committee will meet in the small conference room. At 10 a.m., the Academic Affairs and Shared Governance Committee will meet in the small conference room, while the Student Affairs and Athletics Committee meets in the Hendrick Room. At 10:45 a.m., the Alumni Development Committee meets in the small conference room, while the University Development Committee meets in the Hendrick Room.
