FMU Wind Symphony to perform at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Feb. 26

FLORENCE, S.C. – The Francis Marion University Wind Symphony will perform in concert, Thursday, Feb. 26, at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Florence.

 The program will begin at 8 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. The church is located at 1201 Cherokee Road.

 The concert marks the first time the wind symphony has performed off-campus. The program will include several works written for band and organ. Selections will include “Midway March,” “Folk Song Suite,” and “Deep River.”

 The group is under the direction of Craig Alberty, director of instrumental activities at FMU.
