FMU to host Walk to Cure Diabetes, March 27
Francis Marion University will play host to the Pee Dee area Walk to Cure Diabetes, to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

FLORENCE, S.C. – Francis Marion University will play host to the Pee Dee area Walk to Cure Diabetes, to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Saturday, March 27.

 The walk will begin at 2 p.m., with registration at 1 p.m., in front of the McNair Science Building and continue on the campus walking trail. Participants may walk one mile or three miles.

 All walkers turning in $100 or more will receive a commemorative walk T-shirt, as well as a free massage donated by Fitness Forum massage therapists, immediately following the walk.

 The walk will take place rain or shine, and participants should park in Gate 3, Lot B. Donations should be turned in at the walk.

 Dr. Mark Lawhon and McLeod Health are the local presenting sponsors of the walk.
