Summer terms to begin at FMU

Interested in getting ahead in your college coursework or need to catch up?  Or maybe you just want to see what it is like taking that first college course.  Then summer school at Francis Marion may be just the thing for you.

Classes begin May 11 for the late spring term, while the first summer term begins June 2 and second summer session is slated to begin July 12.  Most classes meet for an extended period of time Monday through Thursday.  There are no Friday classes during summer terms.

Pre-registration for currently enrolled FMU students is already under way.  All new students can register May 10 for the late spring classes, June 1 for first term and July 8 for second term.

Available classes may be viewed on the FMU website at www.fmarion.edu, and under quick links hit student services and click open class schedule.  Or you may request a summer schedule be mailed to you by calling the FMU Admissions Office.

New students must be accepted to the university to take classes at FMU.

For more information, contact the Admissions Office, 113 Stokes Administration Building, telephone 843-661-1231 or toll free 1-800-368-7551 for those outside the local calling area.
