The Francis Marion University Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly meeting Friday, May 28, on campus.
The full meeting is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. in the Stokes Administration Board Room.
The trustees will consider three resolutions--one reaffirming university policies regarding calculation of grade point averages; another to adjust university fees for the 2004-05 academic year; and one thanking the Drs. Bruce and Lee Foundation for its $5 million gift to construct a nursing building and authorizing the creation of a Department of Nursing within the College of Liberal Arts.
The trustees will hold committee meetings earlier in the day Friday. The Executive Affairs Committee will meet at 8:45 a.m. in the Stokes Board Room. At 9:15 a.m., the Financial Affairs and Responsibility Committee will meet in the Stokes Board Room, and the Planning and Accreditation Committee will meet in the Provost Conference Room of Stokes. At 10 a.m., the Academic Affairs and Shared Governance Committee will meet in the Stokes Board Room, while the Student Affairs and Athletics Committee meets in the Provost Conference Room. At 10:45 a.m., the Alumni Development Committee meets in the Provost Conference Room, while the University Development Committee meets in the Stokes Board Room.
