FLORENCE, S.C. - Three Francis Marion University basketball players are listed in the final 2003-04 NCAA Division II statistical reports.

Hinton ranked 32nd in assists as a junior in 2002-03 with a 5.4 per game average.
As a team, the 27-4 Patriot men ranked sixth in winning percentage (.871); seventh in field goal percentage defense, allowing opponents to shoot only 39.1 percent; 31st in rebounding margin (+5.2 per game); 27th in scoring margin (+10.2 points per game); and 39th in scoring defense (66.0 points per game).
The team’s record was a 14-game improvement over the previous season, the best mark of any Peach Belt Conference team, and the second straight year the Patriots have held that distinction. FMU earned its first-ever NCAA Division II national tournament invitation and advanced to the round of Sweet Sixteen before falling to the eventual national champions.
